i need help!
I used watercolor and scanned in a few images to my computer then combined and worked with them in photoshop. What I didn't realize was that the paper size in photoshop was Letter size so when I placed my final image into InDesign, the image was too small. When i scaled it to the 11 x 17 size, my image became completely blurry. I spent so much time on it, i don't know what to do! Any suggestions?

Drop Cap woo woo!

i've transformed by letter into 3D....although i changed my letter (from K to L) i kept the same lace theme. for this project i used bubble blower sticks in the shape of hearts, glued them together, and wrapped red thread around the entire piece. after that, i twirled lace around the letter. i was trying to go for a lovey kind of theme....was it a success? i think so...

i'm back!

my apologies for being MIA for a little...here's a few things i've been working on recently in typography. the project (referred to as "drop cap") is quite enjoyable i must say...for my first drop cap i'm really kinda just experimenting. going for that playful theme. i took some ribbon that i had laying around in my room and markers, sounds like a little kids project right? well it kinda turned out that way.... here is my pretty/cutesy ribbon
SO...the first K i created was...unbalanced i guess you could say (on the right side) for the new one i tried to focus on adding equal amounts of ribbon and little swirlies. not ecstatic on the way it turned out but just trying to get a feel for the drop cap. they will improve each one i do....(i hope!)

Surfing-my sister
I love this picture because it reminds me of this past summer surfing with my sister. We took a bunch of creative pictures one day on the beach and i ended up liking this one alot. I love how the picture is in sepia tone, it is probably my favorite coloring for pictures.
