blogger is not letting me upload pictures :-( ill do more later.

Here's a little tiny preview of my story for my movie. The girl above (my room mate) is walking barefoot around the woods, she goes through the tunnel and starts to get lost. The next few shots she's trying to find her way but can't. She begins to become worried. As the music intensifies the tension builds in the movie. The scene quickly switches over to an ambulance then the girls dead body laying in the hands of a mortician. Creepy story, i know, but i wanted something  unique, interesting, and something that would go along well with the song i chose (saeglopur by sigur ros).

Once upon a time
When the world was just a pancake
Fears would arise
That if you went too far you'd fall
But with the passage of time
It all became more of a ball.
We're as sure of that
As we all once were when the world was flat

So i wonder this
As life billows smoke inside my head
This little game where nothing is sure, oh
Why would you play by the rules?

Walls of Main Street

One of my most favorite type of artwork is wall murals. Kinda reminds me of urban art, which is the one thing I am dying to learn how to do - graffiti! Just roaming the busy main street of UD, i took a few snapshots of the walls. I was pretty fascinated with the exterior of the music store..(the 2 pics next to me) and below..i played around with the white balance a little bit. mmm Matt Costa and bunnies, what a great combination. Lastly I took my favorite..the peace sign, which im using for my newest project in photoshop (i blended in obamas face into the wall..it almost looks  like a real mural! Maybe i will paint a wall mural someday...

Jochem van Wetten

http://www.jochemvanwetten.nl/gallery.htm#

I chose Jochem van Wetten as one of my favorite analog photographers. The picture of the smaller man standing in the field looking up and the gigantic man's legs is the first picture that attracted me. I love his use of extreme colors, his ideas, and his well thought compositions. check it out

Both pictures represent stop action for our latest digital media project. The picture on the left was taken around 4pm while it was pouring outside. Because it was dark i increased the ISO; making the picture pretty noisy but overall i love it. Although its so dark the light in the center of the street, on top of the umbrella, and the highlights on the girl's back and rain boots creates balance in the picture. The picture on the right was taken very quickly. I was just standing on the green and happened to turn around while taking a snap shot of this man running and i ended up really liking it. I love the lighting and the shadow underneath his left foot.

I took this picture in Bermuda this past summer and i love it because it tells a story. My sister and i started talking to the islanders who lived there and they showed us how to climb the rocks and jump off of them. Finally my sister made it up this rock and you can see the two boys at the bottom looking up at her. Overall it reminds me of Bermuda and some of the cool things we did.

This is another picture i took of my sister. I stood on rocks to take the photo and I thought it was pretty cool. Again I loved using sepia tone because it gives the picture a warm feeling, reminding me of summer.

Surfing-my sister
I love this picture because it reminds me of this past summer surfing with my sister. We took a bunch of creative pictures one day on the beach and i ended up liking this one alot. I love how the picture is in sepia tone, it is probably my favorite coloring for pictures.
